Hi. I'm a divorced, well established (achieved full retirement in my late 50s) African American woman. I tend to chart my own course more than I follow others. I've had to function as an extrovert in the world but am actually more introverted on my own time. I'm looking to make a friend who appreciates a strong nerdy woman.
For me, my demisexuality means I need an emotional connection (friendship, admiration, respect, etc.) before I begin to feel physical or sexual interest or attraction. So I'm NOT looking for quick sex, casual hookups, play sessions, or fwb situations. I'm looking to make a friend first, before considering the potential for something deeper.
I have a sense of humor. I enjoy crafting, painting, gaming, sci fi and fantasy. I love trying new foods. I have a personal belief system that I keep just that...personal. I am NOT politically conservative.
I live with a chronic invisible disability that impacts my immune system. I'm happy to say more about this as we get acquainted.
