Hi guys, who wants to chat online and cringe inwardly at potentially dating! Not me!
I'm in a bit of a bind here. I'm married to my person but she's poly and has a shiny person she's been pursuing that's been taking attention off of me. I'm ok with the poly part but I'm feeling a bit lonely because IP have a hard time meeting new people and making connections. I'm here posting in reddit because I want to meet someone who I can establish a long term (or short and see where it goes) initially non-sexual relationship because I feel like I could use a friend that could maybe progress to more if we're both feeling it (because hey who doesn't like to suddenly find that spark and run with it?)
I'm fairly introverted and my love language is touch and acts of service. I feel like I've been part of every nerdy fandom under the sun to some extent, but I've been out of the loop on so many things that I want to catch up on all the latest cool shit like newest anime or conventions (my partner isn't into those which is very sad). I've got a stable job and kids, but they're old enough to not need as constant attention anymore, and I want to find my life again with a cool person who is a lot like me. I'm cool if we can hang out online for a while while getting to know each other, but I prefer you live within driving distance so if we want to do dumb couple stuff like minigolf or dinner it wont take a year to plan things.
Hit me up here in a DM, tell me what your favorite Isekai is or what kind of sword you'd specialize in if you lived in the right setting. If nothing else we can talk about cool books for a while before we decide we don't like each other.
