Hey guys! I work for an environmental group who is using some really outdated methods, I’ve been tasked with compiling a list of the school districts in the states of Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, and Missouri who have a poverty rate above 20%, then I need to find the contact information for the district leaders. This project could take weeks, my agency uses excel spreadsheets and hundreds of man hours to complete tasks like this - I have have used tableau and other data tools…but without institutional support they won’t allow it.
How can I efficiently extract the needed data from the US Census Bureau, specifically the Small Area Income and Poverty Estimate?
I’m here to learn, not have the work done for me - looking for someone who can guide me through this! Thanks guys!
