Are there PhD programs at any universities studying data science using functional programming?
Post Body

I am under the impression that Haskell (I'm about 6 chapters into learnyouahaskell) is very well-suited for data science. Are any universities actively pursuing data science and developing in Haskell or some functional language?

Honestly, any articles or links connecting functional programming and data science will be enough for me. I'm sure I'll read myself into a good mindset.
