IMPORTANT PHOTOS LOST ON SD CARD

I've lost important photos and videos that were saved to my SD card.
All the photos and videos I took this week with my family during an important event have erased from my phone due to a most like counterfeit micro sd card 🥺🥺🥺🥺😞😞😞 I tried recuva (from play store) and it only recovered my deleted photos (that I deleted). pls help. I have an Android (Samsung).
UPDATE: I have found a LOST.dir folder on the SD card
