Post Body

Hey everyone, Hope everyone is doing well. So i am attempting to perform a logical recovery. I had a bunch of pictures im looking to get back, but they seem lost.Heres more information. Originally the hardrive was in a Samsung notebook running Windows 7. I used it from 2009-2015 and on February 26, 2015 the system crashed or something happend. I took pictures of the screen, I had to perform a Samsung Full System Restore, in order to fix my computer. I dont know what happend to cause the crash, but thats what i did. After the Samsung full system restore, it said "Setup is preparing your computer for its first use"... But i used the computer for years before it? BAM all my pictures were gone. The bad part is i continued to use the computer after it. Im still holding out hope that they were not overwritten. I know the exact date that it happend and i am trying to find my pictures that were deleted. How can i go about doing this? Ive tried Recuva but it doesnt show any of the pictures. Is there anything i can do? I looked for backups and there arent any, I looked for previous versions and there isnt. Should i go to a professional data recovery service? I really hope these pictures arent gone for good. What is my best route of action? What is a FULL system restore? is that factory resetting the laptop?
