Please help me with hard drive. Data recovery/ software.

My hard drive doesn't show up on my laptop when I connect it.
I've tried changing the cable, restarting the laptop, changing the port. Someone suggested to go check disk management and this is what it shows it says that the hard drive is empty but I am pretty sure it wasn't empty
so if I can somehow recover my data would be great thank you
