Hi All
Just had a recruiter Amazon send me a message about an opening at AWS for a Data Centre Technician.
Job Description Here:
https://www.amazon.jobs/en/jobs/1278882/amazon-aws-data-center-it-support-engineer
I have done 5 years of helpdesk taking calls and being the first point of contact for end users in a large retail company. I got promoted recently to a desktop support position where im no longer the first point taking calls/answering emails all day and im currently an escalation point.
Very happy with where I am currently as its inline with my end goal of bieng a "Systems Administrator"
Does anyone currently work at AWS in a similar role? what is your day to day activities?
Is this job just a fancy title for helpdesk?
Thanks!
