Rant incoming:
Cut to the chase: I cannot give a flying fuck about looking at data to help someone sell more plastic crap. I don't care about trends in past data to game customers into buying more stupid shit they probably don't need.
I want to (and am) learning to code and DA but really lose all the motivation when all of the courses seem to have such trite and low impact examples of what the industry looks like.
Does anyone have any examples of courses that is more heavily directed into doing meaningful work with DA and coding? I still plan on following through with the Google DA cert, but I really need something besides "Tom wants to sell more widgets, use your brain and data to help him sell more crap". TIA!
What exactly do you think a company would want a data analyst for if not to help them increase profit or sales? Do you just want to play around with numbers lol
