I've interviewed an AI on Dash - Here are its responses
Post Body

The following are excerpts from a conversation I had with the ChatGPT language model ran by OpenAI under chat.openai.com OpenAI is running this public demo to improve the system and gather empirical data for their research.

You can talk about any topic and the AI will provide coherent, meaningful responses and even carries information over from previous queries. It is impressively close to talking to a human. I can only recommend to try it out yourself.

It should be noted that the AI flat out refuses to make assessments on potential value and future prospects on anything financial, including Dash, which - understandably - seems to be a safety measure.

Notes

  • Question 1 & 2 generate almost identical responses, still in the second one it praises Dash as a solid project.
  • The response to question 3 successfully delves deeper into the topic.
  • After question 4 I was able to correct a minor misinformation, which the AI acknowledges.
  • Question 5 provides no astounding new revelations imo, but still fun to ask.
  • Question 6 however reveals how detailed and specific the knowledge of the AI can be (I am not sure how accurate the part about Drive utilizing "ILP" is, though. Still impressive).
  • Question 7, or rather query, is just a fun exercise and while the suggestions seem mediocre, I find it impressive how the model successfully incorporates Dash's properties into the slogans.

My queries were very basic, which is why no mindblowing new information are in these responses, but the AI is able to carry highly complex conversations through more detailed and nuanced questions as I have witnessed myself within other topics and from other people's experiences. You can even ask the AI to generate or analyze programming code or treat it as the shell of an operating system. Feel free to experiment and share your own responses, if you have or plan to create an account there.

The future is going to be very exciting.
