Do trucks return south usually with more space?

Post Body

I am looking at having some personal items relocated down south (Melbourne) and wondered if anyone knew about the sort of loads trucks take in Vs out of Darwin.

I imagined that they would be chockers on the way up but not so back down. Is this the case?

If so, if anyone knows of a company that would sell a small amount of space on a truck, please reach out!

I know there are dedicated moving companies that do this but just looking at potentially more economical ways of doing it as they are quite expensive I am finding. We only need maybe 1-2 cubic meters.

Cheers!
