A couple of months ago it dawned on me that I had all the provisions for me and my 7 year old son to co-op side by side in DS3. He is all about character customization in games and upgrading items and i knew if he gave souls a shot that he would adore it. We started off slow and he wouldn't dare venture off without me. I had to always be by his side or he would panic and I was more than happy to explore and explain to him everything this world had to offer. Slowly but surely he was getting brave and holding his own no problem.

I wish I had thought to record every boss fight from when we first started but I was able to capture from Aldrich on. There were bosses that I told him we would not beat first try and to strap in but he proved me wrong time and time again. There has been several times where I got greedy and died but he kept going and would bring it home for us. Tonight we fought Demon in Pain and Demon from Below. I died close to the end of the fight and he managed to solo a half health and buffed boss. I was so incredibly happy for him and how far he has come. It reminds me how great it felt when I first played these games. He will always ask me to feel his heart after lol.
