I had never learned to parry...

...and then i started a playthrough on DS1 where I tried to to learn to parry. Found it difficult, but really started to get the hang of it. So. Naturally. I wondered how it would be in DS3. And, well. Long story short. I just wrecked my way through the Catacombs of Carthus like I never thought possible. The Carthus Swordsmen had always given me a bit of trouble. Then all of a sudden, this playthrough they were...rather unimpressive. It was very....cathartic.
