After you beat the DLC and head back to the start of the dreg heap, the stone humped hag is dead and her ashes are there, nothing unusual. But I also noticed a Lone Angel circling above the dreg heap and... that's all it does.

It lets out lamenting cries and groans as it circles above the amassed collection of rubble and ash. It's a somewhat unsettling sight but one that made me go from at first cowering in fear expecting holy vengeance to rain down in the form of light beams, to becoming quite inquisitive about why it's there.

Rarely is there a thing such as this sequence of events put in and it not hold some meaning.. or at least not have some meaning applied to it by the community with various sizes of shoe horns.

So what does the community think about this, alas I haven't seen nary a person point it out and it's driving me insane.
