Heyya guys, I recently re-installed dark souls and I was never the biggest grinder. I finished it once, then new game and that was it.
Don't get me wrong, I loved it and I still talk about it with friends.
So, on to my question:
my other build was 100% melee/dodge. two handed sword, light armor. (That means I skipped a lot of the story and got zero points in int/faith)
It was beautiful.
But the thing is now I got a pyro and.... ?!?!?!??
Do I only get upgrades after I rescue Sir Pyromantic of the depths? like, bell gargoyles & capra demon: I have to defeat them with only the basic fire spell dealing the basic damage? I thought it was gonna be easier for casters haahhh
tl;dr: Do I play melee (with 8 fireballs) until I can get the pyro trainer or am I missing something?
