PC Remaster Xbox Series X Controller Not Working

The game doesn't recognize it. Had the same issue with my xbone controller before, none of the solutions for that work for the new controller. Can confirm the controller works in other games, it's only the remaster. Anybody know how to get it to work? Appreciate it.
