I just had an endangered vagrant spawn I the most annoying area

So I'm going through the game and I'm trying to get past those fucking archers that shoot swords. well, this vagrant decides the best way to kill me would be to spawn right on the path in both archer's line of fire where I cant run past it and I have to kill him while being shot and trying not to fall off the roof. fml
