Hi everyone, I always wanted to try out a Souls game and recently picked up the Remaster on the Switch because i wanted to play with some friends of mine but I'm trying to learn a playstyle I'm happy with that is at least decently viable. Against normal enemies I'm actually having a lot of fun tanking behind my shield and taking a few strikes. before striking back with a sword or other weapon but it seems pretty bad when blocking against bosses or bigger enemies. I just wanted to ask you veterans out there for how to make this more powerful or if focusing on blocking is even worth it to invest in. Any and all help is appreciated and if you want to discuss I do respond fairly fast.
