Revisiting dark souls prepare to die edition after ragequitting on O&S

Exactly the title. Played the game up until Ornstein and Smough, rage quit, left the game for a year and a half, and suddenly felt motivated to restart and beat it. Currently I'm in the depths, using the uchigatana, running a dex build. Any advice that you guys have would be appreciated!
