Tips for someone coming from DS1
Post Body

Like the title says, I just beat DS1 a few weeks ago and it was one of the best gaming expieriences ever. Naturally, i moved right on to DS2, I've made it past the 1st giant boss and I got stuck on the pursuer and just quit. I would either continually get my shit pushed in by the pursuer or go the path that led to the skeletons and come out the other side to like 10 gd heavy armor armadillo looking enemies. Those guys were a challenge 1v1 now i need to fight them 5 v 1. Doesnt seem like a challenge and just more unfair. Not to mention i keep getting invaded by an NPC that i Can. Not. Kill. Anyway, its worth noting that with DS1 i was str/vit/end build, so from mid to end game, i could keep my shield up and tank 100% dmg and attack when needed. This led to very few deaths, barring bosses and huge mistakes/getting greedy. But even early game in DS1 (unded burg to gargoyles) i felt like i was making progress and getting better. Now i just feel like DS2 is being difficult by being unfair. Maybe its just me. Anyway, i love the first souls and i know there are a finite amount of souls, and i want to enjoy all i can. So, im hoping someone can give me some insight because i reallllllly want to enjoy this, but i feel like ive hit a wall

Edit:crap i meant to post this is r/ds2. Sorry!
