Disinformation on the DW
Post Body

Hello guys,
So I am trying to possibly come up with a research idea for my thesis and one of the ideas that me and my team are exploring - how does disinformation propagate from the DW to the main web?

The question is: does it? Like is there some viral fake news which originates from the DW? Is there any starting point I can look into? Can we trace back any disinformation to the DW?

I have explored a lot of forums but couldnt find anything.

Would really appreciate any help.

Comments

I feel like a good chunk of disinformation stories originate in academia nowadays because the focus on papers causes perverse incentives.
