What are your best hot takes/unpopular opinions about DD1 or DD2?

Pretty much the title.
Mine for example: Leper is the best character in DD1, you can't convince me otherwise. He's amazingly flexible and satisfying to play.

Blight and bleed damage are the funniest ways to win and I like building teams around it. Not the best, the funniest. Hard for me not to chuckle when I watch a unit take 20 damage a turn just sitting there

I beat the later versions of the Flesh with Plague Doc spreading out blight across all 4 spots,was pretty helpful
