Took my first ever trip into the Darkest Dungeon this morning after 144 hours of total play (multiple play throughs where I’d restarted after a particularly brutal party wipe or got burnt out etc.)

Holy crap! I took a crusader, a highwayman, a vessel and a hounds master…

The C, HM & Dogman (for lack of using the same letters for both) all had significant damage boosting trinkets & the vessel (vessel? Vessel? This is the internet someone will gently correct me 😂😂) had about a 55% boost to healing….

Lost dogman and healer. Other two barely made it out alive….So people of Reddit, what should I be doing differently? Does prioritizing damage and healing make sense? I hadn’t read any guides on anything I hadn’t seen in previous play throughs to avoid spoilers, but I thought I was prepared as I could be.
