Medium Take: I actually like that in a way I can say I finished Darkest Dungeon II under a month instead of getting caught in a Mid-Late Game Grind loop and burning out after two months of only playing Darkest Dungeon I

Completed Darkest Dungeon II at around 98 hours in (Pre-DLC, Pre-Collector, Pre-Gaunt)

Compared to Darkest Dungeon I, completed at around 1,002 Hours, after finishing Darkest Dungeon II

I know some people want to stretch the amount of playtime they have for a game and that relies on having systems in place to just grind and not do the end-game but I personally found myself souring my experience with these.

The one thing I really regret about my past DD1 playthroughs till I did Blood Moon was that I I would just get to Week 100 and do the same tired quests over and over with Trinkets rewards that I don't even actually use and burn out before I actually start doing Darkest Level missions.

Curious if anyone has similar opinions, am also interested to hear the opposite opinion on finding themselves rather just spending hundreds of hours on a game and never completing it.
