I'm guessing the majority of this sub prefers DD over it's sequel, right?
Post Body

I played DD around the time it came out. It was fun, but WAYYYYY to hard for me. I picked it up again recently after watching some other people play and found it to be really enjoyable. Even now, I want to go back and try playing more.

DD just feels so overwhelming sometimes, like I can never quite get a foothold on making progress. Every expedition for me feels like 1 step forward and 2 steps back. Permanently losing characters is rough too. Still, I like what the game has and I really really want to get more into it. The more videos I watch of people playing the more I get an idea of how to play as well.

When I hewrd DDII was coming out, I ignored it for a long while. Recently when I got back into DD, I looked up II to find out that it changed a lot of what I didn't like from DD. Decided to grab it on sale and lo and behold, I love it. I've dropped about 10 more hours into since the screenshot and still slowly making my way through. Despite all my hours, I'm still only at confession 3. I'm loving my time and I really like the changes from one.

Clearly on this sub, DD is more popular than DDII. I want to get into DD as much as I am into II.

That being said, if anyone has any tips about either game I'm all ears. Genuinely love both games and this community too.

I kept playing DD2 waiting for the game to properly start, when I realised that this was it I just stopped playing.
