The US does have driving schools! They’re honestly pretty shitty though.
I almost got into an accident during my driving test (out of state car was turning into a lane that changes directions depending on time of day) and the instructor had to pull the wheel, so we’d be safe.
At the end of the test, he said “you need more experience but here you go!” and proceeded to hand me the document stating that I passed.
From that moment, I knew how fucked up the system was and drive with extra caution.
