Chapter 1 "Swallowing Death", Daily Life (Part 3):

This day is centered around Squad 3: Ridley, Samus, Mario, Kazooie and Kirby.

The day starts at first with something shocking: Ridley and Samus agreeing on something which is not trusting on anyone since they know how dangerous that is...due to different reasons of the same situation (they exchange a glare to each other) and while Kazooie does agree on this since the only person she can trust on is not in the killing game, Mario is 50/50 about it since he knows he can trust Kirby for example to not do anything but not others like Ridley, Kirby is totally against it impulsively since he thinks that the only not trustworthy person is Ridley himself and the rest of them can be trusted on that they'd not kill. This gets a glare from Ridley towards Kirby and an attempt to grab him only for Samus to step in his way and before the two can come to blows (which would have ended in Samus' favor, since something i forgot to acclarate is that all those participants who aren't humans by default have been humanified to an extent whilst also keeping some characteristic of their normal self such as wings for Ridley and feathered wings for Kazooie ie, and Samus knows how to fight on a normal body more than Ridley) Mario calms down the situation saying that it is not good for any of them both to fight considering if one died, the other would be the prime suspect. After saying this, Ridley and Samus cease prior to fighting and then Ridley walks out alone while the rest look at each other before Mario decides to go after him so he doesn't try to pull any dirty tactics and the rest nod barring Kirby who tries to pull Mario back so he doesn't do something as risky as checking on Ridley and Mario tells him to not worry since, after all, he knows how strong he can be and Kirby just nods before letting him go still unsure if it is a good idea.

Afterwards, we see Ridley fuming whilst walking around alone and Mario sneaking up on him so he doesn't get detected and it seems to work till Ridley tells him "I know you are behind me plumber, show yourself." to which Mario just comes up with his hands in the air to show he means no harm which Ridley doesn't trust one bit since he knows Mario is the most heroic out of everyone and thus would trust him the least out of everyone. Then Mario says that it is true he doesn't trust him but he won't let him alone because of that, he can't leave him alone or else he might think to do something nefarious to which Ridley just laughs and then turns around with a lil' grin and tells Mario "Listen plumber, you and i are not so different, just like you've got a home to return to...so do i. And it's not my problem if you don't have the guts to do what is required to go back home like i do. So keep your attempts at vigilating me, i do not care, i will still kill someone. Or maybe not, who knows?. What i do know is that i am pissing you off (Ridley notices that Mario is getting more and more angry as time progresses) and i love it!". Mario then answers "You, you are sadistic!. I was right, you can't be left alone!" and Ridley says "Congratulations dunce, now follow me like the little dog you are i wanna go somewhere" and laughs before going to the garden to take a breath while Mario just grumbles and says "Goddamit" and follows him.

Meanwhile, the camera pans out to Kazooie, Samus and Kirby who were watching the whole conversation between Mario and Ridley and while Kazooie lets a "Damn, that dude is like a roaster of epic proportions, i like him." which earns her a glare from Kirby and Samus to which Kazooie just rolls her eyes saying that she just liked how she roasted Mario, not his morality choices of "i'm killing someone", because she can roast people if she wanted to. Kirby and Samus exchange a glare before Samus tells Kirby that he doesn't have to worry because if Ridley tries something, she can stop him from doing so and Kirby nods 100% trusting her and asking her if she has anyone left in her home to care for like he does and Samus just does a sad glance saying that she doesn't because of Ridley and his associates and closes her fist with an angry expression before Kirby tells her to cool down because she doesn't gain anything getting mad at Ridley to which Samus responds that it is ironic seeing the impulsive one out of them telling her that and Kazooie then interjects saying "It is kinda funny though to see the great and almighty Samus Aran be consoled by a pink ball" and this starts a persecution of Kazooie which at first seems to be them angry but then Kazooie switches it into a play of tag and the trio start running around the school avoiding people and trying to not crash into the walls. After a while, nighttime comes and when everyone goes to sleep we see Mario letting Ridley enter his room first before entering his and the former setting up an alarm an hour earlier than the rest so he can make guard when Ridley gets out of his room and Ridley sleeps peacefully knowing he's making Mario's life miserable. As per the other 3, they all sleep while veing wary of Ridley and happily because of the game of tag they just had (with Samus being neutral and Kazooie and Kirby more happy than her).
