As everyone knows on case 4 of the first Danganronpa Celes is executed, however what bugs me is that before she killed the otaku dude, the otaku dude had already killed someone. I know that celes used the otaku dude to kill someone before killing him, but one question i have is: why didn't the trial end with no blackened, considering that the otaku was already dead, instead of killing celes?. I am asking this because the rules say that the first kill is the one that matters and celes killed SECOND. So there shouldn't be any punishment since the otaku, who should be the blackened, is dead and the trial should end there.
