Dry scalp? Or something else?
Post Body

17M. I started to notice that I had large scab-like flakes in my hair this January and just assumed it was dandruff so stopped using my head & shoulders and tried some medicated products like T-Gel and Nizoral, the issue hasn't got any better and something I always notice about my hair now is that it is really straw-like and clumps together and when I touch my scalp it always seems to be quite dry and rough to the touch. Unsure though.

Currently, I've been using Nizoral every Monday and Thursday and head & shoulders every day in between. I've been doing this for 2 weeks now but the itch is unbearable I try to stop myself from itching but sometimes I just can't. Tried switching it up by using the DERMAXPRO shampoo from H&S but I woke up to find hundreds of flakes in my hair, going back to my normal H&S seemed to solve the problem. I also used a H&S "Supreme anti-frizz" conditioner, so I am unsure whether the conditioner caused it or not, which has led me to avoid conditioning altogether.

I feel like my Nizoral H&S combo could work, I just need something to relieve the itch and dryness imo. I always end up having a few days where things are looking very promising with the flakes being reduced down to small, tiny white dots rather than actual flakes but then the itch gets the better of me and I ruin the whole routine.

TLDR: Using Nizoral H&S but the itch/dryness? is unbearable. Any suggestions for products I could use to stop the itch and moisturise my scalp, preferably available on Amazon or somewhere easily accessible (I live in the UK).
