One thing thats really stuck out to me since watching the documentary and stalking all the 7M members profiles is the lack of God in their profiles. Yes, they all have "God first" (or something else about God) in their "about me" - but that's it.
I once was a Christian in an almost cult like atmosphere. I went to a Christian university. For me, and all the people I was surrounded by, God was quite literally first. He was the center of everything. And everyone's social media told that story. A random stranger would be able to instantly tell me and my peers were Christians just by looking at our profiles because we'd share Bible quotes, videos from our favourite Christian artists, pictures from church, etc.
Other than "God first" on their profile... There's nothing else on anyone's profile that indicates they're a Christian or follower of God. No Bible quotes. No pictures from church (which I realize isn't allowed because of the invitation only, but no pics of a "fit check" before going to a service or ANYTHING like that?? Seems suspicious). No sharing Christian music. Nothing to indicate they're actually a follower of God.
Looking at the 7M member profiles... that really stuck out to me. It's almost like God isn't first.
