I wanted to see what Midgar would look like and came across something very strange. Here's a real image of what Midgar looks like in the PS4/PS5 remake. https://s3.amazonaws.com/prod-media.gameinformer.com/styles/body_default/s3/2019/06/10/9bc79b07/ff7midgar.jpg
The iconic parts are the bright green lights, which is the lifeforce of the planet, and the tall tower structure in the middle of the city. I wanted to see Midgar in different styles but DALL-E can't do it even though it knows what Midgar looks like.
In this image it clearly knows what Midgar looks like. Those rising green colors, the center being taller than the rest, all Midgar, except it isn't Midgar.
Here's Midgar for the SNES. The buildings are all reminiscent of Midgar, you might recognize it from the opening cinematic, but again the towering structure is replaced by skyscrapers instead of the tower.
It knows who Cloud and Sepiroth are. If I just prompt "screenshot of final fantasy 7" sometimes they show up.
This one is similar to the cover of the PSX version. But again the towering center structure is replaced by something else.
It's really strange how it knows there's a giant tower structure, but replaces it with castles and skyscrapers.
