How do I tell him about my father?

I've continuously bothered him about how I'm afraid he's going to leave me and always asking him if he's fed up with me.
Today we got to a point where he's really annoyed because he feels useless because he can't seem to convince me that he's staying, but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to tell him why I have these issues. I'm not sure why.
