Substituting older bf for dad?

Post Body

Hi so as you can already tell i f19 have a bf m26. My parents got divorced when i was 3 and my dad cut all contact with me when he got remarried when i was 5. I now have an amazing bf that loves me very much but i feel like i love him also as a father. He knows about the story of my dad and he thinks its absurd how a father could leave a child like that. I’m at peace w the father situation but lately I’ve realized that things i expect from him aren’t normal in a relationship. I like it when he checks my assignments and makes sure i dont fall behind at college, ties my shoes, calls me his little girl etc.

Is this normal or are my daddy issues at fault?
