I was 16f (ftm now, looked like/was known to my parents as a girl then), and was “dating” a 26 yo sadist. My parents knew, and my mom was steaming mad, but my dad didn’t want to do anything about it. He was afraid of the repercussions of standing up for me while I was getting fucking choked unconscious on the regular, getting driven around by this guy and going to his house being sexually assaulted. My dad didn’t do shit about any of it. Not even when I got into a relationship with a 36 yo two years later. Everything was always my fault, and nothing ever came back to those men. My dad didn’t do fuckall to protect me and it still fucks me up. Sorry to vent, hope y’all are doing well <3
