Hardcore daddy issues at nearly 36 and it’s really fucking with me as his health declines.
He told my mom he’s upset I didn’t amount to anything and now that’s all I can focus on. It hurts. I’m pretty active in different aspects of the local community, but I guess all the extra stuff I do to volunteer and help others network doesn’t matter.
Feeling like I’ve hit new lows over it since I can’t shake it. I’m happy, but his comment is enough to throw me off balance and make me feel physically ill.
Not sure what to do… except vent.
