I'm a first time dad of 3, one bio two step kids,. I was talking with my soon to be wife and telling her how I felt like it was very hard being a parent and that I wasn't very good at it. She of course reassure me that I'm doing fine and that she brags about me all the time. I ask to who, and she say the stay at home mom message boards and stuff. she then explains that a lot of fathers just completely shove the kids and house work all on the mom and refuse to help in anyway. I thought I was being lazy and shitty because I can't get the baby to sleep due to my lack of boobs but it turns out that changing a diaper every now and then and feeding him dinner is leagues above what a lot of guys do.
I don't know it's just weird to hear that I'm not a total failure I guess.
