Dad's, I'm in the dog house again. Our newborn son is extremely gassy. He still scream at the top of his lungs for an hour and not pass anything. So tonight my fiance does another pumping season, which I'm fine with. But it's also time to feed the baby, so her comes 30 minutes of non-stop crying. I take him to another area of the house to not disturb our 2 other kids. 30 minutes later fiance comes in all excited that she was able to pump 7 ounces. I've been dealing with a screaming infant for 30 minutes, so I'm at my wit's end and just can't get excited about it. Then comes the "what's your problem." I try to explain that I have been out here with him screaming for 30 minutes and I'm sorry I can't get excited. So now I've made her feel like shit because she had no choice but to pump, which I'm fine with but since I can't get excited since I've been dealing with a screaming baby I'm the bad guy again
Edit: I did talk to her this this morning. She said it was the tone I used. Because of how stressed we were last night I didn't realize the tone I used, just as she meant to explain what a relief pumping was.
I used a poor tone when responding, she used poor wording to explain how much relief she was feeling
