Stay-at-home-Parents vs. Working Parents: how the time contributions don't seem 1:1
Post Body
So, my wife is staying-at-home for now, and I go to work each day. I get 2, maybe 3 care-times in myself each day before I have to get to sleep before being useless at the office, a career-limiting edgy person, or worse, a roll-over accident waiting to happen.
But I've noticed that work time doesn't seem to have the equal value as at-home time. Anyone else notice this?
To clarify what I mean. If I put in 10 hours of work (8 working, 1 lunch, 1 commuting), it doesn't seem to equal 10 hours of stay-at-home. Surely not in productivity (on occasion that's a given), but also not in value ("You didn't have to do X today.")
