Post Body

So I’m not really sure where I’m going with this because it’s both positive and negative. First and foremost, I love my son with every fiber of my being. However, he is REALLY making things tough. He comes to me for absolutely everything. And I am fine with that, but he also takes it out on my wife. “I want daddy do it”, “daddy take me to daycare”, etc. I’m up at 2 am, and I’m there for last second injuries.

In return, he tells my wife to get out when it’s bedtime, she asks about lunch and it’s just “you’re a meanie”. It’s at the point now where she says she understands, but I can tell she’s angry at me. And if I say no to my son, it’s like the world ends. I have no idea how to get through this with just balance. Not looking for a win, but just to feel ok about a decision.
