Dads, we all need a break from cooking sometimes but eating out or even getting takeout is ridiculously expensive now. Have you guys found some cheap meals/hacks to keep it below $30 or so?
My preferred method is to hit the local slice joint and get a couple of slices for myself, a choice of slice for each of the kids (along with a plain one to share), and an eggplant parm with no cheese for my vegan wife - comes to $25. Everyone gets what they want and it doesn't break the bank.
How about you guys?
Chipotle has a $5 kids meal with three tacos. They are pretty big and they let adults eat it too.
