So I'm a bit of a night owl, I'm usually up gaming until around 12am because my son wakes up every night and comes to our room and wants to get in bed with us. (the wife and I). So I stay up to be sort of a buffer, and tell him to use the bathroom and go back to bed.
The part that scares the shit out of me, is that I'm at the kitchen table facing the hallway to his room, which is only lit by dim light. And what he'll do when he wakes up, is just stand in the hallway, in the darkness until I notice him. Sometimes I look down the hallway and I think I see him, and he's not there. Sometimes I hear his voice saying "dad" and he's not there. It's like living in a horror movie, waiting for the ghost of a kid to pop up and scare you.
This isn't an issue or anything, just something funny.
