- A colony of (some small creature - rats, large fleas, etc) has moved into the village
- A illness seems to be spreading in the village

- The town weaver's loom which no matter how he threads it up and no matter how he works the trundles always produces a plaid fabric. Oginme
- The local blacksmith is working day and night but is behind on delivering orders. No one can understand why since they have stopped giving him their business. Oginme
