What's the reputation of Budweiser Budvar in the Czech Republic/Praha?

I've been in Praha recently and went to a bar where I started a conversation with a woman. We talked about beer and when I mentioned Budweiser Budvar she just looked disgusted and told me that it's shit and that in Prague nobody drinks it. I mentioned during my stay that it's not as present in Supermarkets and Bars than in western and Bohemia where I've been before. So yeah, just wondering why she was so pissed about it.
