Can I drain on my own?

I have insulin needles and the last time I went to a dermatologist all that they did was clean it with alcohol and then drain it with a small syringe. Can I just do this myself? Any other options? I have to be on camera for work, the only time in my life, and have this massive cyst on my cheek. It’s impossible to get into a dermatologist before a month smh
Any ideas?
