Iām 42, and recently decided to get into cycling. I bought a used Raleigh 21-speed hybrid bike and so far, Iām very happy with it. Iām 6ā4ā, so I needed an XL frame, and the guy I bought it from said it was just a little too big for him. One thing he did to the bike before selling it to me was to put an oversized water bottle cage one it. Any suggestions for a bottle that will fit it? I bought a regular water bottle at Academy sports and it nearly falls out. Just kinda rattles around in there.
Also, tire pressure. Iām not doing any off-road riding (yet), so Iām thinking I should have the tires around 50 PSI. Is that a good pressure or should I be going higher or lower?
