Looking to try clipless, first shoe and pedal recommendations?
Post Body

Hi cycling,

I'm fairly new to riding but I'm averaging between 12-15 miles a ride and looking to start pushing more getting ready for a 20 mile (or maybe more, but baby steps) next summer. I've done a little research so far and came across the Shimano PD-EH500 hybrid pedals which seem to be pretty well liked, but wasn't sure on any shoes to pair with it, and from what I understand those are more mountain biking pedals?

My area is mostly small paved city streets, occasional stop lights and within a few miles I can be out onto more paved rural roads with a few hills here and there. Nothing too crazy. I ride a Trek FX2, not sure if pedals are all more or less interchangeable or not. Thanks in advance!
