PSA: don't do v02 intervals during a heatwave. Probable kidney damage.
Post Body

So I went for a bike ride today, it's currently 96 and I did 65 miles. I figured I'd be fine if I stayed hydrated. I decided to do some v02 intervals while riding but then after 20 mins of that I thought my HR monitor was broken because it kept reading HR of 180 and it wouldn't drop if I was doing a lighter effort. I did that for another 10 minutes and then I suddenly felt very weak. I decided to stop and eat some ice and drink some cold drinks. Then I felt better and finished the ride in zone 2.

I peed a brown cola colored pee after that was done meaning I had Rhabdomyolysis. That's definitely not good for my kidneys.

So PSA take it easy if you are riding in the heat . Drinking enough water will not solve your problems. You will literally cook yourself alive and die from kidney failure probably.
