What does it feel like if the wheels on a bicycle are turning faster than I can turn the crank?
Background: I own an Emonda road bike. This is the nicest bike I have owned so this was a unique experience for me over the weekend towards the end of my ride. As I was riding I felt like I was unable to keep up with the rotational velocity if the wheels by turning the crank. I wouldn’t say it slipped, but the nearest comparison I can think of is it felt like the pedals went slower or even stopped and then caught up to the rotation again. There were no noises or anything alarming that I felt.
This is a new bike (less than 100 miles). Am I wrong to first suspect uneven pedaling?
