Avid runner here. New to road biking. I’m looking to buy a road bike to compete in a couple triathlons next summer. I’m in Canada, so all figures are in CDN $.

I found a used Large Giant TCR Advanced 2 on Facebook Marketplace in “excellent” condition, only claims to have used it to train for one triathlon. A couple questions…

1) Seller is firm on $2000. Will include pedals, shoes, C02 cartridge/spare tube/bike bag/Garmin sensor. Is this a good deal? Looks to me like this would go for $3000 tax new.

2) I’m 6’1” and this is a size large. Am I better off in a ML? According to Giant’s sizing charts, I could be on either. What are the pros/cons to going with a L vs ML?
