Hello Reddit, I'm a relatively new cyclist (no experience on the highway) and my country isn't that much ideal for a bicycle.
We have no bicycle lanes here, so everyone just rides together with cars and motorcycles. Drivers use the left side of the road. Ideally, a bicycle should stay on the left lane.
So my question is, what do I do when I want to turn right or make a U-turn? Turning left isn't a problem since I can do it without having to change lanes. I asked a few people and they gave me different responses. Some said I should just slowly change lanes, and someone said to stop on the sidewalk and walk across with your bike.
I'll appreciate any insight, thank you!
